The Rench Kids!

I had a lot of fun photographing the Rench kids! They are moving here to Portland with their mom and dad, who are the brand new pastors to Children and Families at our church, PFCN (www.pfcn.org). Our kids had so much fun playing with them and can't wait for them to get here permanantly!

You'll want to keep an eye out on the blog the next few days... I'll have another update soon with a fun little assignment I had last weekend!

Summertime Pics!

We had a great time this 4th of July, watching fireworks in the Oak Hills neighborhood. I took the camera for some fun fireworks shots and it even survived some kid nearly stepping on it and kicking it a good couple of feet. I got lucky on that one...

Early this week, I then received a new toy. My Tamron 17-50 2.8 lens! I was so excited to get it (even though they forgot to send me the lens hood..argh!) that I had to get out in the backyard for some pics. Here are the kids after some sprinkler playing time...

Have a great summer everybody!

Oliver!

Oliver brought his mom and dad over to our house for dinner last night. We sure had a lot of fun taking pictures! Don't miss the slideshow at the bottom of the post!

June 17th, 1995

Thirteen years ago today, Holly and I started the journey of a lifetime. My wife has stood by me, supported me, loved me, and encouraged me all of those 13 years.

Holly, I cannot say 'thank you' enough for bringing me so much happiness. I love you and Happy Anniversary!

Tanner

Our friend, Tanner, just got his braces off. I thought it would be a good opportunity to get some practice and for Tanner to show off his new look. We had a lot of fun driving around looking for some great locations. Here are a few of my favorites. Don't forget the slideshow at the bottom!

Two sweet peas in a pod...

Last night our good friends, Pat and Andrea, came over for a little "Cinco de Mayo" dinner. We had a lot of fun! Their son Jake and our daughter Megan are pretty much inseparable, and I managed to get a few sweet shots of them. I'm sure their preschool teacher can attest that they aren't always this chummy, though!

DisneyWorld pics! Finally!

I know... It took me long enough, huh? But after wading through thousands of photos (I only wish that were a figure of speech, believe me...), I finally got my favorites edited. Here are a few posted and then there's a slideshow of all of the good ones. We bought the disc of the photos taken by the Disney photographers and we're combining the two sources together to do a photobook this summer. Enjoy!

p.s. - One of these was taken by the photographer in the family with the most raw talent... see if you can guess which one... and he's only 6!
